Clara Elizabeth made me a mother in November of 2016
In 2018, before becoming a family of four, Matthew, Clara and I travelled to Europe. Here is 20-month-old Clara on Omaha Beach at the site of the US landings on D Day.
My absolute favorite memory of us as a family of three was the night that we stumbled upon an impromptu dance party on the Pont Des Arts in Paris. Clara danced the night away!
Eloise Leona joined our family and made Clara a big sister on April 12, 2019.
In the spring of 2019, Daddy ran in the Autism Superhero 5K and Clara collected all the swag!
Mommy and Daddy celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary in June 2019 by snapping this quick selfie before shipping the kids off to Grammie and Grampa for the day!

In August, we traveled to Ocean City, MD for the first time since I was pregnant with Clara. It looked quite different with social distancing guidelines, but we still had a blast!

In September 2020, Clara started her second year of preschool. She wears a mask without complaint and is reportedly doing very well in the classroom!
Autumn 2020 certainly looks differently than past years, but we still try to get out and expose our girls to the world around them as much as possible!
These silly girls are the greatest things that ever happened to me. Their love for each other is my greatest joy.
In spring 2021, we announced that we were expecting our third baby!
Our family vacationed to Charleston, SC, in the summer of 2021. We had a blast!
Baby #3 is weeks days away from joining our family as we hunted for the perfect Christmas tree, November 2021.
Harrison Oscar Lape was welcomed into our clan, completing our family, on December 7, 2021. He has the best big sisters ever!
